I think that everyone at some point should take a course in psychology. There is so much to psychology that people don’t realize. Based on my experiences, I have always questioned why people do certain things or act certain ways. I feel lucky to do research and read about new findings on issues that a lot of people also find interesting. I love doing what I do because psychology is constantly changing and that makes it so great.

At Susquehanna University, I like the student-focused environment and dedication of the faculty to see students succeed. It is evident that people at SU enjoy being here and I think that this makes this university special and unique.

As a life span developmental psychologist, I am interested in topics, such as why certain subgroups of individuals plan differently than others and how cognitive and affective forces influence our decisions. Specifically, I am interested in the patterns of collaborative cognition among couples at different ages and life stages.
Outside of the classroom I enjoy spending time with my family and my dog.
